Pickerel Rush has long been a staple in many water gardens. Beautiful and easy to care for. This plant makes a great addition to the shallow edges of the pond.
Flower: Creamy white flowers emerge from the leaf nodes and rise above the foliage, the flower stalk is generally about 3″ long. Great bloomer almost all summer.
Height: 18-30″
Foliage: Green stalks with broad glossy leaves.
Sun: Full sun to partial shade
Best Planting Depth: 0-4″ (tolerates up to 12″)
Hardiness Zones: 3-10
Native Area: Much of North and South America
Invasive Information: While a very prolific plant, there are no known invasive restrictions in the continental US
